Moneyble is an accounting program that helps you track payments, receipts, invoices, and expenses. With it, you can have an accounting platform to keep your finances up to date. Its features are extensive, offering both manual and automatic tools to calculate monthly savings and various other useful calculations and averages.
Familiar interface
The interface of Moneyble resembles an Excel spreadsheet, so you'll feel right at home. One of its main advantages is the ability to manage accounts and transactions. You can automatically add bank transactions by importing bank statements.
Setting up categories
To use the platform, you'll need to add categories using the "+" icon in the top menu or with the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+N). Here you can enter a monthly income or expense. You can edit category values and cut and paste between cells. Other shortcuts include Ctrl+D to delete categories and Ctrl+arrow keys to move through categories. After entering income and expenses, the platform calculates your monthly and annual savings.
Automatic calculations
As you can see, everything is done automatically without requiring you to enter formulas. You can see last year's income, compare income, track expenses from recent years, view the average of the last three months, set income and expense budgets, check budget percentages, available balance, real savings to income, cash savings, and much more.
Managing bank accounts
To include a bank account, go to Accounts. From its interface you can add two types of accounts: one that excludes credit and debit cards, and another that includes them. From here you can import bank statements, specifying the account name, opening balance, opening date, and currency.
You can also associate bank accounts with groups. Go to File – Options – Accounts and select the groups. This way you can associate accounts to different groups or choose not to associate certain transactions as credit or debit, among other options.
Navigating the interface
Using the arrows in the upper left, you can navigate through all the functions of the environment, such as transactions, accounts, charts, monthly and annual results, and transaction import. The platform is a great option to keep your accounting well controlled and access all your data easily and visually. Moneyble is a free program available for Windows (executable and portable).
