Music Maker is a powerful program for creating music that comes with a wide range of features. It includes three virtual instruments that will help you produce high-level musical creations. The platform's tools are very good, and you'll find Soundpool, screen keyboard, master effects, and MIDI editor, among others. With the three instruments (Revolta 2 Synthesizer, Concert Grand LE Piano, and Vita 2 Sample Player), you can add EDM synthesizers, your own chords, rhythms, and melodies, whether creating from scratch or editing existing tracks.
Interface and Master Effects
Once you've downloaded the program from its official page (select custom installation), you'll see its well-crafted interface with a large number of functions. The Master Effects option will take your tracks to the next level, because it includes five different functions that let you improve and change the sound of your music (Compressor, Reverb, 10-Band Equalizer, Limiter, and Echo). Each function comes with a predefined preset that you can apply to tracks, or you can modify the dynamics, graphic equalizers, echo, and automate levels, among many other functions. You can apply effects to the entire track or only to individual audio clips (loops), but if you want to go further, you can add manual audio effects to the music, such as distortion and filters.
Virtual Instruments
With Revolta 2 Synthesizer you can develop classic EDM synthesizers, new sounds, and very deep basses. The instrument includes a range of effect, filter, and oscillator settings that you can apply to the track, or you can use a 16-step sequencer to create custom rhythms.
Concert Grand LE Piano is a virtual concert piano that lets you create signature melodies quite easily. In fact, the instrument creates based on recordings made around the world (piano concerts). To play it, you can use either the mouse or the keyboard (remember to activate the on-screen keyboard). With the presets, you can manipulate Reverb (Amount and Damping), Equalizer (Bass, Mid, and Treble), Delay (Time L/R and Feedback), Chorus (Depth and Speed), Panorama, and Pitch.
With Vita 2 Sample Player, you can play any instrument found in the platform's library. (Acoustic Drum Kits & Percussion, AMP, Filter, Delay, Reverb, tube distortion, voice, etc.)
Additional Features
Also, the environment includes a very powerful virtual guitar, MIDI editor, and options to import and export in almost all audio formats. The functions we've found on the platform make it an excellent choice for professional-quality musical creations.
Price and Availability
Music Maker is a free program available for Windows operating systems. The free version has reduced services and features compared to the commercial one. We also want to mention that its installation is very slow, but when working with the environment, everything is very fluid.
