For years we have closely followed and recommended several tools developed by Nir Sofer, better known as NirSoft. His programs are efficient, lightweight, and perform very specific tasks, but they are also very numerous, and sometimes it is difficult to track them all. Fortunately, the developer himself offers NirLauncher, a special environment that contains almost 200 different utilities in less than 40 megabytes.
If a user wants to recover a password, study web traffic, extract the history of a web browser, or identify all USB devices registered by the system, they most likely do not need to download gigantic programs. One of the first steps is to visit the official NirSoft page and search among its many tools for something that can fulfill the required function.
Nir Sofer's programs are a striking example of efficiency, functionality, compatibility, and portability. I believe that so far I have not seen any of his projects require an additional dependency or external module. The only drawback is that it is complicated to track the more than 200 utilities, but there is no need to worry.
All of NirSoft in a single package
The solution is called NirLauncher, and it is a package with all of NirSoft's tools, contained and organized under a single interface. NirLauncher divides the programs into their corresponding categories, which makes the search process much easier.
As expected, NirLauncher is a fully portable package, and the user only needs to dump its contents into a temporary folder. Carrying NirLauncher on a maintenance USB stick is undoubtedly a good option, since in addition to its portable profile, the final size of the interface with all applications does not exceed 40 megabytes.
Its official page mentions basic compatibility with Windows 2000, extending up to Windows 10. The package receives weekly updates, so there is no need to chase its utilities one by one. In fact, the last update of this beauty was on May 11. A must-have package!
