NooBox is a Chrome extension that lets you perform reverse image searches with multiple search engines such as Google, Yandex, Bing, Baidu, Tineye, IQDB, and SauceNao on any web platform.
One of the features that sets this extension apart from others is the ability to view results from all the mentioned search engines in a single place, making it easier to choose the results. This function is very useful for research or any educational work.
Getting started with NooBox
Once you download the extension from its official page, you'll see it added to the browser toolbar. From its icon or right-click, you can already perform reverse searches. To search an image, right-click on the selected image and select the extension from the context menu. You'll see three options; for reverse search, choose 'Search this image'. The extension will open a new tab and show you all the results, categorized by search engine.
From the tab, you can sort images by rank, length, area, relevance, or search engine. From the results, you can download the images or go to the web pages where they are hosted.
Additional features
As you can see, when you activate the tool from the context menu, you'll find two more functions. One is the possibility to extract images from a web page.
The add-on will open a popup window from which you can browse the images and download them to your computer. The other option is to take screenshots of a page and perform reverse searches from them. Once enabled, you'll need to move the dotted lines over the image; on the right side you'll find the search tool, and at the bottom the option to close the capture. You can also save the captures from the browser.
Performing reverse searches with the extension is a fast, simple, and effective task. But what stands out most about the utility are the search engines, which provide a large number of results.
NooBox is a free extension available for Chrome web browsers.
