It's no secret that many view Nosferatu as a bootleg copy of Dracula. Yet, despite the legal battles, Count Orlok survived — and now he's back.
With the old copyright demons exorcised, this remake of Nosferatu has everything ready to cover the big screen in darkness once more. Robert Eggers takes the director's chair (the same from The Witch, The Lighthouse, and The Northman), Bill Skarsgård assumes the role of Orlok, and it would be a grave mistake on our part to overlook Willem Dafoe, who has already worked with Eggers in the past. The release? This Christmas.
