Customize Quick Settings and see network speed
Quick Settings offers room to tailor the controls panel. Dark-mode and sound-mode toggles can move independently of the brightness and volume sliders. You can resize those sliders into compact 2×1 tiles or arrange them vertically, and change the size of the media player.
For a live network-speed readout, open Good Lock, then go to QuickStar > Visibility of Indicator Icons > Network Speed. The indicator shows current speed, but combines upload and download traffic rather than separating them.
Restrict app internet access and switch to single-tap controls
AI Network Guard can block internet access for selected apps, including during scheduled Downtime. Its settings are tucked inside Connectivity Labs: go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi, open the three-dot menu, then tap Intelligent Wi-Fi seven times. Open Connectivity Labs, choose AI Network Guard, set a PIN, and select the apps to restrict.
The accessibility option Replace swipe with single tap is at Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity. It lets you answer calls and dismiss alarms or alerts with a tap instead of a swipe.
Reframe videos and build Now Brief cards
My FanCam adjusts the framing of an existing video in Samsung Gallery. Open a video, choose Galaxy AI > My FanCam, then select a detected person and an aspect ratio. The feature reframes the footage around that person; it does not generate new content.
To customize Now Brief, go to Settings > Galaxy AI > Now Brief > Custom cards. You can choose information for weather, health, or video cards and set when each card appears.
Check Driving Report, Motion Assist, and Warranty and care
Driving Report is located at Settings > Connected devices > Driving report. It starts when the phone connects to a car over Bluetooth and logs details including route, distance, driving time, average speed, rapid acceleration, sharp turns, and phone use while driving.
Motion Assist is a Google feature associated with Android 17, rather than a Samsung-developed feature. Find it under Settings > Google services > All services > Motion Assist; an optional shortcut can also be added to Quick Settings. It displays floating shapes that move in sync with a vehicle as visual motion cues.
The Warranty and care hub in Settings brings together warranty details, diagnostics, Bixby help, remote technician support, FAQs, and repair requests. Actual warranty coverage and service options depend on the device and market.
