PhoneArena reported on October 21, 2026, that Android 17-based One UI 9 was rolling out during that week to a preliminary list of Galaxy phones. In the United States, the list names four models; the report also groups phones across Iran, South Korea, Europe and the Middle East.

Samsung’s stable rollout began with the Galaxy S26 series
Samsung announced on September 16, 2026, that the stable One UI 9 rollout, based on Android 17, was beginning with Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company said One UI 9 had already debuted on Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8, and that other Galaxy devices would receive the update gradually. Samsung’s rollout announcement sets that earlier milestone apart from the October regional list.
NeoTeo previously covered reports of One UI 9 reaching carrier-locked U.S. Galaxy S24 phones, a separate wave from the models in this October list.
