This week's games are impeccable: from a hero who must rescue his girlfriend, Max Savior, to a selection of retro games with Retro Redux. More? Polar Opposites and Dangerous Adventure 2 will make your day.
Retro Redux
A game for retro game fans, Retro Redux offers a series of old titles remade based on the original premise. For example, a game like Dragon's Lair is nothing like the arcade version (here you must grab the three trophies to score points while dodging the dragon's fireballs, the bat that moves back and forth, and the spikes that appear randomly on the ground), but it undoubtedly follows the premise of the title. In Haunted House you have to explore a dark haunted mansion, equipped only with a flashlight, to find hidden doors and avoid evil spirits. In total there are eight games, so play them all to see what's up.
Polar Opposites
Here you play with a magnet that must overcome dozens of screens full of dangers, using your magnetism power to repel or attract metals toward the keys. But be careful, because in Polar Opposites just as you attract things that can't hurt you, others will wreak havoc on your health. And you only have three hearts of life (which you cannot recover once damaged). In most of them you have to activate doors, either by collecting all the coins in the scene or by activating switches. The magnet attracts red objects and repels blue ones. Remember that when interacting with colored spikes.
Max Savior
Max and his girlfriend were enjoying a pleasant outing until they were abducted by an alien spaceship. Fortunately, Max manages to break free and now has to find a way to escape with his beloved. Max Savior is a very fun platformer in which you control Max, a galactic hero savior, who must jump here and there, avoiding dangers, picking up batteries, and reaching the exit. In some levels you'll have to interact with levers and move boxes (to reach elevated areas or activate switches) in order to grab the battery capsules in each level. A fun flash platformer.
Dangerous Adventure 2
A very well-designed game in which you must fight dozens of creatures in turn-based battles, where damage is determined by the number of colored blocks you pick up. At the start of Dangerous Adventure 2 you have to assemble a team, selecting each warrior (who belongs to a different class). During battles you'll see that each warrior belongs to a color, as do the monsters, who are vulnerable to their own color. The goal is to eliminate blocks of the same color as your warrior to attack the enemy and accumulate points that allow you to use their special abilities. A game full of quests, fights, strategy, and adventure.
