OpenAI announced Space, Pages and collaborative Slides for ChatGPT at DevDay on September 29, 2026. Space and Pages are rolling out gradually to eligible accounts, while OpenAI said that day that it planned to roll out Slides in the coming weeks.
What Space, Pages and Slides do
Space is a shared work area for teammates, ChatGPT and an AI agent persona OpenAI calls a “dot.” It brings pages, uploaded files and related work together. Pages are editable documents that people and agents can work on together. Users can start a page from a ChatGPT conversation, create one in Space or use a template; they can edit text directly or ask ChatGPT to make changes.
OpenAI describes Pages as a place to write, research, create charts and images, and visualize information. Collaborative Slides are designed for presentations: OpenAI said users would be able to start one from a ChatGPT conversation or a template, then have teammates and agents edit and comment on it.

Plans, rollout and device support
OpenAI lists Space and Pages for its Pro, Business and Enterprise plans. Eligibility does not mean every account has access yet: the features are rolling out gradually. OpenAI listed the same plans for Slides as part of its announcement of the planned rollout.
Page creation and editing are supported on the web and in the desktop app. On mobile, users can find, read and share pages, but cannot edit them. In managed workspaces, organization sharing settings determine the available sharing options; Enterprise administrators may need to enable sharing.
How the features connect with other work tools
OpenAI said collaborative Slides would support presenting in ChatGPT or exporting to PowerPoint or Google Slides with formatting intact. Those export options were part of the planned feature description.
ChatGPT for Excel and Google Sheets is a separate spreadsheet experience. It is not part of Space, Pages or Slides.
