OpenAI’s stated Ultrafast speeds
OpenAI says Codex Ultrafast can generate up to 300 tokens per second. The company also describes it as up to eight times faster than standard token generation.
What changes for Pro 200 subscribers
OpenAI confirms that new Pro 200 subscribers who are not eligible for the legacy allowance receive less included usage. The more specific reduction—from 20 times the ChatGPT Plus allowance to 10 times, and from 200 to 100 GPT-6 Pro messages per week—is reported to take effect October 30, 2026.
OpenAI says eligible existing Pro 200 subscribers who maintain an active subscription keep their previous included allowance through October 29, 2026.
