They ruined entire weekends for me, but there are many people out there who have turned the essence of their construction into a very striking form of entertainment. Of course, I'm referring to papercraft templates, and the Web is full of free options to download. Today we'll visit three sites dedicated to papercraft that you can't miss.
All you need is access to a printer, thick paper, an instrument that cuts very well (scalpel, precision cutter, etc.), and patience. Papercraft can become a frustrating hobby, but the satisfaction you feel when you finish a model is enormous. The creativity of some enthusiasts has no limits, and they don't hesitate to go from building models to creating them directly. The good news is that a large number of those models have been shared on the Web for free, and several dedicated pages take care of putting them in their databases. Today we recommend three:
Creative Park
160 animals, 130 toys, dozens of vehicles, an entire section dedicated to architecture and multiple decorations are part of the Creative Park portal. Some of the templates are so advanced that they are divided into two or more sheets... but if that's what you're looking for, you'll be more than satisfied.
Cubecraft
If bullet trains and passenger planes don't interest you too much, you can go to Cubecraft and download papercraft templates with all kinds of characters. In many cases they don't even need glue, making the process cleaner and more direct.
Ninjatoes
From Kingdom Hearts to WarCraft, through Zelda, Tomb Raider, South Park and even Battlestar Galactica, Ninjatoes offers us a wide variety of challenges. The final number of papercraft templates available is not as high compared to other sites, but it's probably the only place where you'll find models of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and of old games like Alice or Advance Wars.
