With PDFill PDF Tools you can easily add headers and footers to PDF files. The platform allows you to insert custom text and choose the font type and style, margins (top, left, right, bottom), and borders, among other parameters.
A Closer Look at the Options
The environment goes further, allowing you to add page numbers, add only a footer or header, merge PDF files, rotate documents, and set custom alignment for headers or footers. To add headers, for example, you'll need to click the Add Header and Footer option (number 6). In the new dialog box, select the PDF file from your computer. Once the document is added, the header and footer options become available.
On the left side of the pop-up window, you'll find all the options for adding headers, while on the right side, you'll find all the options for adding footers (you can also enable or disable them).
Some tools you can manipulate include showing or hiding page numbers, aligning header and footer text, selecting font types (Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Book Antiqua, Tahoma, Segoe UI, etc.), changing font size and color, and customizing margins from the borders option.
The utility doesn't let you preview headers and footers. For this reason, you first have to save the PDF file using the Save As button, then open the document in its destination folder to view it. Although there are several online platforms for editing PDFs, in PDFill PDF Tools we have found several additional tools that put it above most.
