The television market experienced a slowdown with the start of the Space Race, and some manufacturers bet on what we now call retro-futuristic style to reactivate it. Competition was tough, but there was a TV that basically defined that category: Philco Predicta.
A flat screen, a short barrel, and the possibility of moving the entire tube (in one model) to change its position made the Predicta a television ahead of its time, and its aesthetics are… unforgettable.
