Photo Black & Color is a program that lets you keep specific colors in an image and convert the rest to grayscale, giving you a trendy effect, but in a simple and very effective way.
There are already several editors that do this, even in social media filters, but very few match the simplicity and speed of this environment.
A straightforward way to isolate colors
Once you download the program from its official page, you'll see its simple interface. You can add an image by dragging and dropping it, and get the job done in just a few steps.
Now you have to choose the colors you want to keep in the photo using its selection tool (the cursor). You'll see the colors being added on the left side of the interface. You can also use the zoom option to pick colors that occupy only a few pixels in the image, or remove colors from the list you've selected.
Before performing the edit, you can adjust the tolerance. In our tests, we set it between 20 and 30, and we could select or deselect sepia, progressive contours, and color gradient. To finish, just click the execute icon (the film strip icon) and the platform will do the job quickly.
This utility is really good and simple. If you don't want to open Photoshop or you know nothing about photo editing, this environment will be a great help. If you have a color with shadows or multiple tones, you'll need to select each shade of that color; otherwise, part of it will turn to black and white. Then you can export it to JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and more.
