Often we travel for pleasure or business to different places around the world, and just then we have a minor health issue that we always solve in our home country with a specific medication. But in this unfamiliar country, we don't know what it's called. The result will show you the medicine with the same active ingredients. You can also search by active ingredient if the database doesn't find results.

In the center of the interface, you'll find three columns:
- Home country
- Choose the medication
- Where to find
First, you'll need to choose the name of the country where you take the medication. A dropdown will appear with all countries listed alphabetically. In the second option, a menu with a database of medicines will also drop down. The medicine database varies depending on the country you select, but on average there are 50 medications per nation.
The last step is to select the country where you want to find the medicine. Now all that's left is to click the red button to start the search.
As you can see, the platform shows you the name of the medicine (with each country's flag), then a table with side effects, its use, qualitative and quantitative composition, dosage and administration, interaction with other medications, contraindications, last update of the text, and the causes of a possible overdose, among other information. You can download all the drug indications as a PDF, print them, or have them sent to your email.
The Pillintrip service is really good, because no matter which country you're in, the platform will find the name of the medication (with the same active ingredients) that you take in your home country.
