Pokémon Uranium is a fan-made Pokémon game that has been in development for more than six years by two dedicated fans. Set in the tropical region of Tandor, this adventure features more than one hundred new Pokémon species and introduces the new Nuclear type. Time to catch them all!
Two fans known as ~JV~ and Involuntary Twitch have been working for more than six years on their own Pokémon game titled Pokémon Uranium. The adventure takes place in the Tandor region, where you play as Natalie or Victor and face your rival, Theo, in the challenge of catching more interesting Pokémon with over a hundred new species. The Tandor region is a tropical area based on real places like Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles, with unique zones that differentiate it from any Pokémon game.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/7qtUf9TCTyQThe gameplay of Pokémon Uranium maintains the classic RPG style of the series, where you must explore the tropical region of Tandor in search of the eight Gym badges and make your way to the top of the Elite Championship. The developers also revealed details of a legendary monster that will appear in this new game: Urayne, a radioactive Pokémon, will be the new Nuclear type, with a power that allows it to split its atoms and unleash mass destruction. The Nuclear type is composed of wild and corrupt Pokémon that refuse to listen to any trainer, but will attack anything in sight with destructive force.
Another novelty is that in this world, technology has been developed to allow trainers to talk to Pokémon, thanks to something called the Pokémon Speech Translator. Naturally, this is a very valuable element that you must protect from falling into enemy hands.
The game is being designed with RPGMaker XP and is currently in its fourth beta version, which you can download for free by clicking here. Pokémon Uranium is being developed by ~JV~ and Involuntary Twitch and will be available on Windows and Mac. For the moment, the game does not have a concrete release date.
