Process Watcher: Manage and Monitor Processes

Process Watcher is a program to monitor and automatically create logs for new processes (which you can then modify). This way, you can detect when a new process starts in the background and tries to perform a task without your consent. Although the Windows Task Manager shows a list of running processes, it is not a good service for monitoring them, especially for processes that start in the background.

The platform also shows you the following details related to the process: It shows the file path related to the process, ID, size, detection date, last access time, creation time, write time, description, product name, product version, company name, etc.

How to monitor processes, log new ones, and modify them?

You can download the installable or portable version (ProcessWatcher.exe) of Process Watcher. Once you run it, the platform starts monitoring everything from the system tray, automatically creating text files.

To open the log file (.txt), you will need to double-click on the program icon and the log document with all the details related to each process will open.

Each process starts with the word “NEW PROCESS” and below all the information is detailed as follows:
