In any home, there are many items that we accumulate without even noticing. From food to a computer mouse, having all the elements of your household located and controlled helps save time when you need them and, more importantly, use them before they become obsolete. That's why we're presenting four programs to inventory your household items.
With these platforms, you can classify products by categories, set their location, get expiration alerts, and view from the interface the invoice, a photo, and the barcode of each item, among many other options.
Household Register
We'll start with Household Register, a powerful home inventory program. Despite having an unkempt interface, the platform has many options to create, organize, and manage all kinds of items you have in your home. From its options, you can add along with the product: item details, quantity, category, location, owner, status, purchase condition, value, warranty, notes, photos, and documents (such as invoices, warranty cards, etc.). One of its best features is being able to search and query any product detail, such as the expiration date. The platform allows you to import and export data from an Excel file, dBase, ASCII, or HTML. You can also make a backup of the inventory.
Vladovsoft Sklad
Vladovsoft SkladVladovsoft Sklad has a simplified interface and is therefore easy to use. When you first start the platform, it will ask you to create a username and password to access the database (by default in both cases: 'admin'). Then you'll see a series of buttons: Products, Productions, Payments, Database, Report, etc. But we will only use the 'Products' and 'Report' sections to make the inventory of our home. From 'Products', we will create a database of items with many details: name, barcode, category group, quantity, price, date, note, barcode, photo, etc. And from 'Report', you'll get a report of the entire inventory.
Fakturama
We continue with Fakturama, a complete home inventory management program. With the platform, you can create a database of items and add various details. Then you'll examine the inventory using filters or its search bar. You can also import or export data to an Excel file. The environment handles inventory management for the administration of items, invoices, receipts, expenses, and can also store all your business contacts and customer details. As you can see, its use is a bit complicated; if you're looking for something simpler, you'll surely lean towards other options on the list.
Lecprog Stock Management
We'll finish with Lecprog Stock Management, a very good program that can be used for managing home inventories. What stands out about this environment is its simplicity. All you have to do is create a database and from there, save products into assigned categories (when you create the database, it links to the program). At the top of the interface, you'll find product search options.
With the four programs to make an inventory of your household items, you'll always know where that whiskey you bought years ago is or where that old printer is.
