Today we have so many photos that we don't know what to do with them. That's why we present programs to make collages with your photos. The platforms we'll list let you create shapes like animals, skulls, emoticons, custom masks and text. The environments let you use as many photos as you want and you can customize their alignment, the size of the photos in the collage, the size of the collage, and so on, to then export the file as JPG or PNG.
ShapeX
ShapeX is one of the best collage creation programs. With the utility you can create a custom shape, or use its template and choose among animals, modern art, emoticons, skulls and text. To create a collage with ShapeX, you'll need to import the images to its interface and then select the shape from the bottom of the program's interface (there are different categories). The settings are on the right side. To create a free-form collage, you'll first need to create masks in Photoshop or Paint.net and then erase the background with the collage shape. The program is portable, free and available for Windows operating systems.
Shape Collage
With Shape Collage you can create shapes with your photographs. The first thing you need to do is import the images to the platform's interface. Then, at the top right, you can select one of the many shapes the program has. After that, you should customize the parameters. To create a custom shape, you'll need to click on the 'Shape and size' section and draw the shape with its tool. The program is free and available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
Collaizer
Collaizer is another program to create shapes with your photographs. The utility also allows you to create custom shapes or use a template from its database. The big difference between Collaizer and the other two platforms is that Collaizer is much less precise. From the 'Explorer' option you'll import the images to its interface and from 'Shapes' you can create a custom shape. In contrast, in 'Design' you can select a template, then click 'Create Collage' and finish the collage. The program is free, portable and available for Windows operating systems.
