Prophecy announced DataGPT on Oct. 28, 2026, and said it was available that day. The company described it as a way to turn requests in ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot into data workflows analysts can inspect, revise and approve before scheduling them on an enterprise platform.
From a request to a data workflow
Prophecy says DataGPT can handle work from bringing files in through preparation and analysis to outputs such as reports. Its example starts with a messy Excel file, an audit list and records from SharePoint, Snowflake and Databricks. DataGPT applies a discounted product-bundle pricing rule, then schedules a monthly rerun.
Prophecy also says a customer-specific knowledge graph connects business context, definitions, rules, data catalogs and workflows.
Access and execution platforms
Prophecy named ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot as assistant integrations. SiliconANGLE reported that users could access DataGPT through those assistants’ connector marketplaces. For organizations that had not approved the assistants, SiliconANGLE reported Prophecy’s own app as an alternative.
Prophecy named Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery as platforms for running approved workflows. It says scheduled work runs on the organization’s own data platform.
Analyst review comes before scheduling
Prophecy says analysts can inspect a visual map of workflow steps and results, refine a step, and approve the workflow before scheduling it. The company says workflow code is kept in Git; approved reruns use that code without generating the workflow again with AI, avoiding additional AI-generation cost.
Prophecy also says uploaded files pass through its platform to the organization’s own data platform rather than into an AI chat. The company says IT and data-platform teams can view and govern the workflows.
Starting access and company context
Prophecy said individuals could start with a free account and that administrators had centralized deployment options. SiliconANGLE reported that Prophecy’s most recent funding round at the time was a $47 million Series B extension led by Smith Point Capital in January 2025.
