The market is full of free options, with LTSpice and NGspice being the most popular, but there is also QucsStudio, based on the open-source Qucs (Quite Universal Circuit Simulator). The first step is to create a project using the window or the corresponding menu. In the Components category you'll find everything you need to add resistors, capacitors, power supplies (AC and DC), transformers, inductors, and/or ground connections, but you should also explore subcategories. For example, Devices includes voltage and current probes, switches, and relays. Non-linear Components holds diodes, transistors, and MOSFETs. In System Components you'll see bit generators, amplifiers, noise generators, and photodetectors. Finally, the Diagrams section will allow you to obtain all relevant data from the simulation with different graphs and measurements.

It is also necessary to highlight that QucsStudio includes options oriented to radio frequency, to the point that many experts see it as a good substitute for Keysight ADS, which usually has a very high cost.
