With RCBlast you can analyze explosions from your computer. The program generates reports on SDOF and PI analysis and shows an easy-to-understand graphical report. Use this platform to analyze structures exposed to blast waves. You can also save the report as an SDOF file or create your own Blast report, editing parameters such as pressure, TNT mass, and area, among others. The environment can be used for research and advanced SDOF and PI analysis. But the standout feature is that the utility includes all the features and tools for explosion analysis in just 6MB.
How to use RCBlast for explosion analysis?
If you already know all the parameters of explosions, using the platform will be very simple. If you are a beginner, everything may seem complicated at first, but over time you’ll get the hang of its functions.
Step one: After opening a new project, you can enter the inputs so the utility generates the final results. You can also load an SDOF file.
Step two: You’ll find several buttons to define structural properties, applied pressure, SDOF options, PI diagram parameters, mass, area, maximum pressure, negative pressure, and more.
Step three: Once you’ve defined all parameters, you can start the SDOF analysis. Just click the Run SDOF analysis button (or press F5). When the analysis finishes, you can view the graphs in the interface and export them.
With RCBlast you can really perform SDOF or PI analysis, thanks to all the components and tools in the platform. The program is available for Windows operating systems.
