Linux-Magazin reported on October 26, 2026, that a notice attributed to the DFN-CERT Incident Response Team described multiple KeePassXC vulnerabilities that could enable remote denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, plus one that could enable a local DoS attack. A DoS attack disrupts access to software or a service.

What the notice says about KeePassXC

The notice said the vulnerabilities have differing privilege requirements, and that one requires user interaction. It did not tie those conditions to specific vulnerabilities.

The reported Fedora 43 package status

On October 26, Linux-Magazin also reported that keepassxc-2.8.0-2 was in testing for Fedora 43 and was intended to address four vulnerabilities. That four-vulnerability target is the package’s stated scope.

This is a separate notice from NeoTeo’s earlier coverage of KeePassXC 2.8.0.
