The same comparison listed fewer meetings for three named European industrial companies: TotalEnergies had 236, Volkswagen 231 and Airbus 222.

The wider meeting ranking
Other organizations had higher reported totals than the three technology companies: WWF had 431 meetings, Transport & Environment 410, the American Chambers of Commerce 396 and the Chinese government 359. BusinessEurope, a trade association, had 321.
Policy topics and what the counts mean
Reported meeting topics included the Digital Omnibus, proposed cloud rules and online-safety rules for children. Google had 22 reported meetings about the Digital Omnibus; Google, Amazon and Apple also discussed the proposed cloud and child-safety rules.
The totals are estimates affected by incomplete or erroneous disclosures. Multi-party meetings were counted for each organization involved, and AI was used to organize those meetings. The figures count reported access to policymakers; they do not link a particular meeting to a specific EU law or decision.
