Rocket Lab announced an agreement for 20 additional dedicated Electron launches for Synspective on September 30, 2026. The planned missions will carry the Tokyo-based company’s StriX synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) satellites to sun-synchronous orbit from Launch Complex 1.

What the 20 Electron missions will carry

Each planned launch is dedicated to Synspective’s StriX satellite constellation. The satellites use synthetic-aperture radar, or SAR, and are scheduled to launch aboard Rocket Lab’s Electron vehicle from Launch Complex 1.

Synspective’s contracted Electron total reaches 47

Rocket Lab says the agreement brings Synspective’s total contracted Electron missions to 47, the highest total for any Rocket Lab launch customer. Rocket Lab also described the 20-launch agreement as its largest commercial Electron launch contract to date.

The missions are planned for 2028 through 2031

The 20 launches are scheduled annually from 2028 through 2031.
