TechSpot’s October 2026 snapshot put the cheapest verified, in-stock GeForce RTX 5090 offer it found in the United States at $9,400. That was 36% above its September minimum and 370% above the $1,999 MSRP reference used in the analysis. The $9,400 figure is a retail-market observation, not the comparison’s ten-market average.
What the October price figures measure
TechSpot checked the lowest offer for an RTX 5090 in each of ten markets, verifying that the card was in stock and could be purchased at the listed price. It did not average prices across sellers or RTX 5090 models.
Across those markets, the normalized average was $7,240, or 262% above the $1,999 MSRP reference. The US minimum was $9,400, or 370% above that reference. The figures describe different measures: one is a normalized average across ten markets, the other the cheapest verified US offer.

The separate figure of about 35% over three months applies to graphics cards overall. For the RTX 5090 in the US, TechSpot reported a 36% rise from September to October.
