Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Souls is the next game based on the franchise by Masami Kurumada. Taking advantage of the recent premiere of Saint Seiya - Soul of Gold, this title will include characters from the new anime. As in the plot of Soul of Gold, the legendary Gold Saints return from the dead with their new divine armors. The fight against Hades was not the end for Athena's heroes, who, blessed with celestial powers, still have to face an even greater challenge. This first trailer begins with the awakening of Aioria of Leo, who, using his new divine armor, faces Seiya of Pegasus once again.
Gameplay and Characters
The gameplay of Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Souls does not present many changes from what we saw in Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, with one-on-one combat. Among the main novelties are the Gold Saints with divine armors. Besides Aioria, we can play with Saga of Gemini and the rest of the Gold Saints wearing their respective divine armors. Seiya and his friends, the Bronze Saints, also show up alongside the gods Poseidon and Hades. For now, these are the only confirmed fighters, but over time new characters will be announced to round out the roster.

The game will again include the Sanctuary Saga and the Hades Saga, along with the new Soul of Gold Saga. Taking advantage of the technical capabilities of the current generation, Saint Seiya: Soldiers' Souls would support a resolution of 1080p at 60 frames per second on Windows and PlayStation 4. The game is being developed by Namco Bandai and will be available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Windows. There is no concrete release date yet, but it is expected to arrive by the end of 2015.
