Samsung lists the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, both powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500. U.S. availability is reported to begin October 7, 2026, and reported starting prices vary by model and connectivity configuration.

Samsung lists two Galaxy Tab S12 models

The Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra share the Dimensity 9500 processor. Samsung says the chip delivers a 19% faster CPU, a 17% faster GPU and a 61% faster NPU compared with the prior generation; those are manufacturer comparisons.

Samsung also lists four speakers with spatial audio, IP68 protection, an included S Pen and microSD expansion up to 2TB. The microSD card is sold separately. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch display.

Samsung's software and battery claims

Samsung says the tablets support up to seven OS upgrades and security updates. Update timing and availability can vary by model and market.

Samsung claims up to 21 hours of local video playback for the S12+ and up to 23 hours for the S12 Ultra. Its test uses local 720p video at 162 nits, with Wi-Fi and mobile network connections off; results can vary.

In a separate hands-on review, a Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra unit scored 9,403 in Geekbench 7 multi-core and ran a local video rundown for 19 hours and 39 minutes. The review also describes the Ultra as having one USB-C port. These are observations from that review unit and test.
