A report published by SammyGuru on October 12 describes Samsung’s Intelligent Eyewear with a reported weight of about 41 grams and a long list of hardware details, alongside frame options from Gentle Monster and Warby Parker. Samsung had already announced the glasses’ Android XR platform, Gemini integration, Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 and a battery-life maximum of up to nine hours per charge. The newly reported component specifications and lineup details remain leak claims, not part of Samsung’s announcement. SammyGuru’s report provides the detailed figures.
What the leak reports about the glasses
SammyGuru attributes about 41 grams to the glasses with standard lenses; it says prescription lenses add some weight and that weight varies by model. The report also lists 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, a 12-megapixel camera, and 3K video recording at 30 frames per second. It describes two open-ear speakers, four microphones and IPX4 water resistance.
Samsung’s July announcement names the Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 platform, but the other component figures above come from SammyGuru’s leak report. That report also says the glasses have no display. Samsung’s announcement identifies the platform and the broader product experience, including Android XR and Gemini.
Samsung’s announced battery maximum
Samsung introduced its intelligent eyewear at Galaxy Unpacked in London on July 22, 2026, and said the glasses could run for up to nine hours on a charge. The charging case, Samsung said, could provide up to seven additional full charges. Battery life varies with network conditions, features, apps, settings and other factors.
SammyGuru separately reports up to 72 hours of total use with a fully charged case. That figure matches the arithmetic of eight charge-equivalents—one initial charge plus seven from the case—at the nine-hour maximum. It is not a promised continuous runtime; Samsung’s stated battery life depends on use conditions.
Reported frame shapes and versions
SammyGuru counts six Gentle Monster frame shapes across 16 versions, and three Warby Parker styles across 10 versions. That breakdown describes nine shapes and 26 reported versions. 9to5Google’s headline gives a total of 25 styles, which conflicts with SammyGuru’s detailed counts. The reports do not explain the difference, so the two measures should not be treated as a settled final catalog. 9to5Google’s summary is the source of the 25-style headline.
The Warby Parker styles are named Alden, Reid and Wren. SammyGuru reports Alden and Wren in Pine and Saddle, and Reid in Jet Black; each frame-and-color option is described with clear lenses or as sunglasses. The six Gentle Monster shapes are described as squared, rounded, bolder square, cat-eye, slim oval and oval. These are details from the leak report, not a confirmed retail catalog.
Reported compatibility and sales plans
SammyGuru reports basic compatibility with Android phones and iPhones. It says additional Galaxy phone features require a recent Galaxy S, Z Fold or Z Flip running One UI 9 or later. For watch features, the report specifies a Galaxy Watch running Wear OS 7 or later; Samsung’s announcement specifically identifies Watch9 for gesture interactions.
SammyGuru also reports prescription-lens availability for the Gentle Monster models, with purchases through the brand’s U.S. website or a local optician in South Korea. Its reported sales plan expected a November 2026 start, with Gentle Monster models planned for the United States and South Korea and Warby Parker models for the United States. These are reported plans, not terms in Samsung’s July announcement.
Earlier FCC-related reporting
An earlier account from TechAvid focused on model families and connectivity attributed to FCC filings. The video’s description identifies SM-O200J and SM-O200P and reports Bluetooth and 6GHz Wi-Fi support.
