If you didn't get enough of Sharktopus and its sequel, Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, then you're in luck because in a few days the third installment of this movie arrives. Get ready to see the new SyFy madness featuring a confrontation between a Shark Octopus and a Wolf Whale in Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf.
The SyFy channel is known for airing B-movies and series, usually made independently and with a budget equivalent to one or two million dollars for the production. This can be noticed in movies like Mega Shark Versus Mecha Shark, Sharknado and Sharktopus, among many others, which were completely destroyed by specialized critics, but because they were so bad (and for good reason), they became a viral success, earning a select group of followers as well as several sequels. And one of these sequels is the third installment of the shark octopus, titled Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf.
If you enjoyed Sharktopus and Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, then you're in luck because the madness continues with Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf. In this installment, the new mutation arises when a rather crazy scientist mixes the genes of a whale and a wolf, creating a... Wolf Whale (and yes, it was logical after all) that begins to cause chaos in the city. It will be up to the famous Sharktopus to stop this new creature in a fight where the special effects are more delirious than ever. In other words, a terrible B-movie through and through that will be terribly destroyed by critics and loved by a few.
The leading role is played by Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) along with Catherine Oxenberg, Akari Endo, and Sarodj Bertin, among others. Produced by New Horizons Picture, the movie will be directed again by Kevin O'Neill (Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda, Dinoshark). Sharktopus vs. Whalewolf will be broadcast on the SyFy channel on July 19, 2015.
