Drawing is a skill we can improve with practice, and what better way to learn than by making fun doodles! That's why we present SketchDaily.io, an online tool with basic diagrams for beginners. Truly, the platform is a great option for kids or beginners to acquire the main drawing techniques. The environment also includes the option of tracing drawings to see your progress.
Getting started with SketchDaily
When you go to the website, the first thing you need to do is register (to save your sketches and track your progress). We had trouble finding the registration at first; it appeared after we made a drawing in the work area, just so you know.
Understanding the interface
In the interface, on the left you'll see your courses and all courses. On the right, you'll find a box that shows your progress. To start drawing, you'll need to click on 'Your Courses' or 'All Courses' and all the categories will be listed. Within each category, the drawings will be displayed. Select the one you want and the canvas will be enabled.
At the top of the work area, you'll see three icons: one to add or remove the drawing, another to reset the drawing, and the last to erase the last stroke. At the bottom, you have the option to change the brush color (black by default) and, next to the color selector, you'll find the tool to increase the stroke.
Timer, saving, and sharing
Remember that the platform will enable a timer, and when the countdown reaches zero, it will give you the option to save or start over. In the 'Gallery' section, all your drawings will be saved; you can save them to your computer, share them on social media, or even send the drawing to Zazzle.com to have it printed on a t-shirt. (Only available in the USA.) Truly, the platform is a great option to learn to draw while playing.
