Many people out there don't hesitate to highlight all the negative aspects of a drone, but today we are going to celebrate one of its most important applications, which is aerial photography. Of course, putting a drone in the air is not enough: it requires a photographer at the controls, with the instinct and knowledge necessary to obtain shots that would be impossible under normal circumstances.
Several portals have begun to reward the best works, and one of them is SkyPixel, which has just announced the winners of its Photo Contest 2017.
Some of the images show nature as rarely seen. Others are the product of chance, shots at the exact moment that make them unique. Finally, we find photos with a bit more production and precision. In all cases the result is wonderful, and I imagine the competition judges had a tough time placing one photo above the rest.
