SlideNinja is a program that lets you record audio directly onto PowerPoint slides and PDF files, allowing you to control the speed and rhythm. This way, you can make your presentations much more effective.
SlideNinja is an excellent alternative to similar tools like OfficeMix and Express Point Presentation.
How to use SlideNinja
Once you download the program from its official website, you'll see its simple interface. You can create folders and select PPT, PPTX, and PDF files without having to open PowerPoint or a PDF—everything is done from the interface.
After creating a folder using the “+” button, click the “+” button again to add a file.
Now you only need to click the microphone icon to record your narration.
At this point, the audio is inserted into the page you selected. From its player, you can listen to it and customize the timing. To record audio on another page, simply select it with the mouse and start a new recording.
Requirements and notes
We assume you have PowerPoint and PDF installed on your computer and that your system has a microphone.
In our tests, the recording worked very well, although it leaves a few seconds of silence (it starts after 4 seconds), but the recording doesn't cut off—neither at the beginning nor at the end.
SlideNinja is a free program available for Windows. In our downloads from the direct link, we haven't detected any threats, but browsers have flagged the external link.
