In this article we are going to present spelling checkers for Windows 10, which work across almost the entire new Microsoft operating system. With global spelling checkers you can correct your spelling in any text field on your computer. This way you won't have to go to Word to see if you have misspellings, you can do it from the same container you are typing in.

AnySpell

We continue with AnySpell, a platform for working on spelling in Windows 10 text boxes. It has fewer features than the previous tool, but as a highlight is its option to integrate the environment into programming developments. The program also comes in English by default, but from its configuration menu you can add a dictionary in Spanish. (Uses OpenOffice). AnySpell is a free program available for Windows operating systems.

MicroSpell

We will finish with MicroSpell, a program very advanced to control spelling on your computer. The environment, when it detects a misspelling, gives you suggestions or the option to load words from the clipboard. The tool is really very powerful, but its pop-up windows (there are many) may annoy you. After a while you will get used to it and get the most out of the platform. The utility offers you the possibility to add dictionaries in other languages, including Spanish. MicroSpell is a free program and is available for Windows operating systems, both in 32 and 64-bit versions. (Its online version does not work).

tinySpell

tinySpell is a powerful spell checker with advanced options. With it you can work in Explorer, in blocks and almost the entire operating system. By default the platform works in English, but from OpenOffice you can download the dictionary in Spanish to add it to the utility (or any other language). To do this, click on the tool's icon in the taskbar with the auxiliary mouse button and from the menu select “Dictionary…”. When you have a spelling error, the environment will notify you via a pop-up alert, and you can customize the notification (color, audio, etc.). tinySpell is a free program available for Windows operating systems in 32 and 64-bit versions. (There is an installable and a portable version).
