The internet offers everything we need, but it also exposes us to people with bad intentions who can spy on us and record every keystroke we type. This way they can steal passwords, bank credentials, and everything we write on our keyboard.
This technique is known as keylogging and is nearly undetectable and very dangerous. That’s why we bring you SpyDetectFree.
How SpyDetectFree Works
Once you download the program from its official website, you’ll see a simple interface with a prominent button that says Check Now. Click it and wait for the tool to do its work. When it finishes, you’ll see two questions at the bottom: “Am I Being Spied On?” and “Am I Being Monitored?”.
Under each question, you’ll find a summary and two messages: Probably Yes and Probably Not. If your computer is infected, the program will also show you the path of the malicious file.
Further down, you’ll find a Details button that opens a window with all the information about your operating system’s modules. In our tests, it flagged the file nvinitx.dll as a possible spy. That file is part of the NVIDIA D3D drivers and is almost certainly not a threat, but the program likely detected it based on its digital signature. So before deleting any flagged file, we recommend investigating its origin.
SpyDetectFree is a very good utility to detect spying on your computer and to know if someone is recording your keystrokes. It is a free, portable program available for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems.
