How does SSD-LED work?
First you'll need to download SSD-LED on your computer. After running it (no installation needed because it's portable), you'll observe that a blinking light will appear in your system tray that is the solid-state drive activity indicator (it blinks black, yellow, red, and green).
If you double-click on the icon, a new window will open where you'll find a graph that updates in real time showing the real read and write performance of the drive. This way you can easily observe the MB/s values of the disk's operation.
You'll also find two slider controls you can adjust. The first control lets you set the speed threshold for the activity indicator. The second control is for customizing the update interval in milliseconds of the data. This way you can observe the time between speed checks for writing and reading.
