StoragErazor is a Firefox add-on that automatically deletes DOM storage and IndexedDB data from all websites. The automatic process runs every time you close, open, or restart the browser.
DOM storage and IndexedDB data are used to track users, so your privacy is affected. Once the extension is installed in the browser, you can leave everything at default settings and the platform will work automatically. Every time you close Firefox, it will clear DOM storage and IndexedDB data to protect your privacy.
If you need to do it manually, just click the utility icon (in the top right corner) and a dialog box will open, where you can delete DOM storage data, IndexedDB data, cache, and history, among many other options.
What Are IndexedDB and DOM Storage?
For those who don't know what IndexedDB and DOM Storage are, here's a brief explanation: IndexedDB is a low-level API that offers storage on the client for a large amount of structured data (files and blobs), to enable high-performance searching.
