An image is worth a thousand words, so an explanatory cartoon video will be worth more than a speech from a great leader. To make the video we will use the SuperAnimo platform, which thanks to stickers, captions, animated objects, sound effects, animated backgrounds, and the insertion of voiceovers, videos, and GIFs, will allow you to create explanatory videos based on comics.

How to create an explanatory cartoon video with SuperAnimo?

After registering on the utility's page, you will see the Create an Animation button; click it and the editor will open. There you will see the work area and all the tools on the sides. At the bottom you will find the animation timeline.

The first thing you have to do is change the white background for one of the many backgrounds you will find in the platform's library; just click on the Cartoon option in the Background category. At this point you will need to add objects to the video; choose any type of element from its two categories: Action and Placement.

A great library of objects

To select an object, simply double-click on it. If it is from the Placement category, you will have to place it wherever you want, but if it is from the Action category (moving images), you will have to draw the object's animation path with the cursor. This way you will create the animation for each element inserted in the work area.

Very good animations

On the right you will see several tools such as: drawing on the canvas, adding sound effects, recording, adding a voiceover, inserting text, generating text to speech, inserting audio and videos from YouTube, and adding images and sound effects that you have stored on your computer. Here we want to highlight the text editing and animation tool that allows you to do custom work with the captions.

Once the explanatory video is finished, you will get a link to share it via email or on social networks. You can also export the animation as an animated GIF (maximum ten seconds and with a watermark). Really with SuperAnimo, you will be able to make explanatory videos in a cartoon style, easily and with very good results. The only thing we see missing from the platform is the option to download the video; the solution we found is to record it with a desktop recording program.
