Editorial report
Tecno Camon 12 Air technical sheet
The Tecno Camon 12 Air may suit buyers looking for a straightforward Android phone with expandable storage. The trade-off is a 268 ppi display and 64 GB of built-in storage, which can be restrictive for a large collection of apps and files.
Its IPS LCD display measures 6.55 inches and has a resolution of 720 × 1600 px. The phone weighs 181 g and is 8.2 mm thick. Storage is expandable from the listed 64 GB, while 4 GB of RAM works with the MediaTek Helio P22 processor. The battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh.
The 16 MP rear camera records video at 1080p and 30 fps; the 8 MP front camera records at the same resolution and frame rate. A Quad LED flash, HDR, and panorama are included for the rear camera. Connections include Dual Nano-SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and microUSB. The operating system is Android 9.
NeoTeo does not assign this model a NeoScore. The Camon 12 Air is a fit for buyers who value expandable storage, two SIMs, and basic connections; display density and internal storage are its main compromises.
