Tesla scheduled a livestream for the Tesla Roadster on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 7:55 p.m. CST. The date and time appear in a post from Tesla’s official X account, published October 14.
Why the date changed
Tesla had initially scheduled the event for October 1. Electrek reported that Tesla moved it after citing weather and saying the event could only be held outdoors.
The presentation is separate from customer deliveries
The scheduled livestream is a presentation, not a customer-delivery date. NeoTeo’s earlier Roadster coverage also distinguished the event from the start of customer deliveries.
