Corel PhotoMirage, a classic name in the industry
The learning curve in Corel PhotoMirage is relatively broad, but it compensates with a very intuitive interface and a healthy amount of online material. In fact, your first stop should be its official channel, with videos for specific tricks that last no more than five minutes. PhotoMirage is compatible with Windows, and although its requirements aren't exaggerated, you'll need some firepower. The trial is 15 days, 70 dollars for the full license, and you'll need to share an email with Corel.
StoryZ, to share everything online
StoryZ has an important social component in its app, but its list of tricks for creating motion photos doesn't lag behind. You can alter geometries, apply effects, add secondary elements, use the overlay, and more. Probably one of the easiest apps to learn, and everything you do in StoryZ can be shared online with a couple of taps. Free edition with limits, 7-day trial for the Pro version, subscription or 40 dollars for its license.
Zoetropic, all about movement
Zoetropic doesn't ignore the social profile, and its Zoetropic of the day category sends you to Instagram to explore some of its creations. The app also serves as an access point for its motion photo tutorials, clouds, 3D effect, and waterfalls. Overlays, sky edits, and even an audio library are part of Zoetropic's repertoire. The Pro version removes ads, watermarks, and limits on animation speed, and also activates additional overlays and sounds.
