Wireless and portable speakers have exploded in popularity almost as much as smartphones. Once these new phones removed MP3 players from the equation, we discovered that the quality of their built-in speakers was a tragedy. The market was quick to respond with a wide variety of models, and the good news is that they don't punch a hole in our pockets when it comes to buying them. Today we're going to recommend four, with a good balance between price and performance.
Audio tends to be a rather ignored aspect. Most users believe it's enough with a pair of generic headphones, but there are occasions where we simply leave behind a lot of quality. A recurring problem is low volume, and in the past we've shared some recommendations to increase your computer's sound, however, there are no magic solutions. A similar situation is experienced by mobile devices. Both smartphones and tablets come with anemic speakers that can barely be heard, and the best we can do is add a little spice by seeking the help of wireless speakers.
The Best Wireless Speakers at a Good Price
Mono, stereo, resistant to liquids, with auxiliary audio input... wireless speakers have managed to respond to almost all user demands, without turning our budget into ashes. In fact, the four models we're going to share below don't even exceed 50 euros. Let's see:
Sony SRS-XB10
Bluetooth and NFC connectivity, hands-free function, ten meters of range, stereo input, 16 hours of battery, IPX5 liquid resistance, and 260 grams of weight define the Sony SRS-XB10. We can also find dedicated cases that make its transport even easier, and with six colors available, it adapts to all tastes.
JBL Go
Technically, JBL has already replaced this model with a second version that has a more 'streamlined' design so to speak, but besides being an excellent wireless speaker, the JBL Go has an irresistible retro appearance. At 130 grams, the JBL Go is a feather, and even so it manages to offer five hours of battery life, audio input, and a convenient hands-free mode.
Vtin Punker
Probably the surprise of this list, the Vtin Punker became, without too much fuss, the number one on Amazon Spain. It delivers a configuration of two speakers (2 x 10W), a minimum of 25 hours of battery life thanks to its massive battery, IPX4 waterproofing, Bluetooth connectivity, auxiliary audio input, hands-free, and two years of warranty. The only detail? It weighs almost half a kilogram, but that's not a problem.
Philips SB300B/00
Resistant to liquids (IPX7), shock-resistant, and with a bit more color thanks to its LED lights, the Philips SB300B/00 seeks to be the star of any impromptu party. Its Bluetooth range extends to 20 meters (with direct line of sight), and its lithium battery translates to about eight hours of battery life. It's much lighter than it seems, at just 230 grams.
