There are not a few artists who use their preferred medium to criticize specific aspects of our society, and given the current situation, we shouldn't be surprised when their numbers grow. Granted, an image or a song won't change the world, but it never hurts to see or hear something provocative that makes us think differently.
Igor Morski: A Critical Eye
That brings us to the fabulous illustrations of Polish designer Igor Morski, who maintains a delicate balance between freehand drawing, photographic manipulation, and 3D elements.
In the late '80s and early '90s, Morski worked for Telewizja Polska (Polish Television) as a set designer. He then moved into the press, and his illustrations ended up in publications such as Newsweek, Businessweek, Money magazine, Men's Health, Women's Health, and Prevention, among others. It has been said more than once that Morski's art is 'controversial,' and I don't think that's a negative description.
