Monsters. Deformed beings. Ghosts. Giant pseudo-spiders. Claws and teeth. Tentacles. Strange figures and human faces where they shouldn't exist. Some might think these are too basic horrors, but they never, never fail to "click". Artist Trevor Henderson takes advantage of that essential connection by combining photos of real places with creations no one wants to meet in the middle of the night. I never finished Amnesia: The Dark Descent because I'm a coward. I had to work hard to get through some sections of F.E.A.R., and I've tried to keep a healthy distance from Hideo Kojima's P.T. demo, which his fans insist on recreating. My tolerance for horror content is quite low, and just when I thought I was doing fine, this artist/psychopath named Trevor Henderson shows up in my feed with his legion of monsters. Unlike other projects that put us through a certain "grind" or "slow burn" before reaching the terror, Henderson's creatures are there in a single move. Personally, I think there's some influence from the SCP Foundation, and I wasn't surprised at all to discover a drawing dedicated to SCP-173, which you should never stop looking at.
