Not long after the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V hit the shelves, the user community got to work modding it to their taste, giving this classic a new twist. The results? Many interesting mods for Grand Theft Auto V on PC.
The Community Makes the Game Its Own
The community behind a product is sometimes just as important as the product itself, especially when it has the tools to mod it freely. And when we're talking about a franchise like Grand Theft Auto, which over the years has known how to delve into the world of mods thanks to its active community, we know that anything is possible. That's why it was no surprise that one of the main reasons for the long-awaited release of Grand Theft Auto V on PC – available for about a month – was to see and, above all, play each of the mods and roam the city of Los Santos once more.
A New World of Possibilities
Grand Theft Auto V is an incredible game, and thanks to its incredibly detailed world and the freedom of action it offers, you can do practically anything you want. Players themselves made that happen even before the mods appeared, recreating iconic movie scenes like the truck chase from Terminator 2 or the train sequence from Skyfall. But this is only the beginning. With mods, a new and huge variety of worlds opens up, where imagination knows no limits and everything is possible.
First Mods: Superman, the DeLorean, and More
The first mods for Grand Theft Auto V on PC show Trevor as Superman – although without a cape – wandering around the city while being chased by the police. Thanks to his new kryptonian super strength, Trevor can take out police officers with a single blow, destroy cars with a kick, and fly around Los Santos. It's not perfect, but it adds a touch of freshness to the gameplay. There's also the classic Back to the Future mod, where you drive a car that represents the DeLorean. The difference is that when you accelerate, instead of traveling through time, it just switches the day cycle (day and night). Several mods are available with different themes, such as Agent 47, the powerful Hulk, and the classic, must-have zombie apocalypse, which add not only a change of setting but also changes to our characters' and vehicles' skills. What other wonders will we see in Grand Theft Auto V? Only time will tell.
