A person can install hidden cameras to reinforce the security of their property and, by extension, their personal safety. In the past, I have heard of cases of gender violence that were confirmed with hidden cameras, but the coin has two sides, leading us into the territory of extortion, blackmail, and threats. Public bathrooms, changing rooms, rented houses, and transient lodgings (read "motels") are some of the places that record the most incidents with hidden cameras.
