TinySecuritySuite is a complete security suite with VPN that includes firewall, encryption, file shredder, and secure folder creation. All in one! How to Use TinySecuritySuite?
After downloading and unzipping the ZIP file, you'll need to install it on your computer. At that point, you'll have access to all the platform's tools.
File Encryption
This function lets you encrypt a file with AES or Triple DES. You just need to select the encryption type, set the encryption password, and enter the input file. After that, determine the location of the encrypted file (with the name) and then press the button Encrypt.
To decrypt the file, select the same encryption algorithm, password, set the destination file location (with the name), and then press the button Decrypt. The file is decrypted immediately.
VPN Tool
To access regionally blocked websites or secure browsing activity on public Wi-Fi, you can use the VPN tool. However, you should note that the service does not come with a built-in VPN. Instead, it uses OpenVPN configuration files (you need to have OpenVPN installed) to connect via VPN. First, add the OpenVPN configuration file (*.ovpn) in the OVPN field. Then add the username and password and click the Connect button.
Firewall
If you want to allow or deny firewall permissions for certain IP addresses, this function will be helpful. Remember that this service is useful for IP addresses. However, this feature does not work to block internet access for installed programs.
File Shredder
The File Shredder function lets you add multiple files and then shred them in batch. Files are securely deleted and, according to its developers, it is almost impossible to recover shredded files with TinySecuritySuite.
With TinySecuritySuite, you can encrypt files, use its VPN service, destroy files, and create hidden folders, all from its interface. It is a free platform developed in C# and is available for Windows operating systems.
