Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) – A period piece, set in France just before the Revolution, starring Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, an eccentric character with a superior sense of smell. Jean-Baptiste is obsessed with creating the perfect perfume, regardless of who it hurts or who has to die. A beautiful film, based on the novel of the same name by Patrick Süskind. Crime, drama, and scents. Not to be missed.
