Some cities are a true magnet for urban artists, and New York is no exception. From the streets to exposed-brick walls, all the way to every water, gas and electricity installation, these creators bend those objects to their skill and imagination. One of them is Tom Bob, who has been making quite a splash on the web recently. When someone sees a wooden bench or a pipe, Tom sees a giant insect, an elephant's trunk, or something even stranger.
Tom Bob's activity on Instagram dates back to mid-2013, and he has remained on the radar of portals such as Bored Panda for a long time. From what we've been able to tell, Tom stays busy: in the month of May alone he shared more than 20 posts. Visitors clearly appreciate his efforts to hide or camouflage pipes, which are mostly pure efficiency with no sense of aesthetics (not that we can expect much in that regard).
