TP-Link Systems Inc. announced a letter of intent (LOI) with electronics manufacturer Key Tronic Corp. on October 19, 2026, proposing router assembly in Corinth, Mississippi. TP-Link expects Wi-Fi 8 home-networking products to be among the first assembled there, with production possible as early as 2027 pending U.S. regulatory approval.
What TP-Link and Key Tronic proposed
The LOI describes Key Tronic as a prospective primary domestic manufacturing partner for TP-Link’s networking portfolio. The proposed work is router assembly at a site in Corinth, Mississippi.
TP-Link’s announcement sets out an intended arrangement between the companies. It does not describe a production start that has already taken place.
Wi-Fi 8 products are expected early in the plan
TP-Link expects Wi-Fi 8 home-networking products to be among the first items assembled on the planned line. The company’s announcement covers a product category, rather than naming a specific router model.
TP-Link’s Wi-Fi 8 plans have also drawn attention through the Archer 8 Ultra. NeoTeo previously reported on Archer 8 Ultra preorders, offering background on the product’s U.S. market context.
Production could begin as early as 2027
TP-Link said assembly could start as early as 2027, conditional on U.S. regulatory approval. That timing applies to the proposed production plan; the announcement does not give a specific start date.
